Kindermusik® s the world´s leading publisher of music and movement curricula for parents and their children from newborn up to 7 years old. Our effective teaching methodology is based on the music education philosophies of Orff, Kodály, Laban and Dalcroze and the work of early childhood experts like Piaget, Montessori, Greenspan and Brezelton. Current research that shows music is a powerful stimulant for a child's total development is continually incorporated in the writing of all curricula.
| Language development in a multi-lingual worldEnglish is Europe´s most important second language, and one of the most prevalent languages in the world. At Kindermusik with MAE-Club, your child experiences authentic language activities beginning with sound identification and imitation, songs and rhymes, active listening, first words, to storytelling. Whether English is your child's first language, second or third, our seven-year program supports their growing knowledge and confidence in using the language. At Kindermusik with MAE-Club, we believe that early childhood music education is one of the best ways to support a child's language development. |
| Musical developmentCurrent research shows that music has a strong positive impact on childhood development in all areas. At Kindermusik with MAE-Club, all programs include singing, dancing, active listening, exposure to different musical genres and of course the opportunity to play a variety of musical instruments from around the world. Your child will experience rhythm, his own and that of the group, will learn songs that develop musical memory and provide the opportunity for first musical creations! At the end of our seven- year program, your child will be fully prepared for first instrumental lessons, and we will have a strong idea in which area your child´s musical talents and interests lay, be it string instruments, percussion or woodwinds. To support your child´s musical and language learning endeavours, Kindermusik with MAE-Club provides a number of highest-quality and inspiring products to keep at no extra cost to you. Each semester, (twice a year) your child will receive “At Home” materials which always include at least 1 CD, at least 1 picture book and an age-appropriate musical instrument such as a rattle, a slide whistle or a glockenspiel. Depending on the course and semester your child is in, the “At Home” materials can also include board games or family activity books. |
| Physical developmentChildren learn through movement so we move! Free dance, circle dances and finger play help your child gain awareness of her body and improve her coordination. |
| Cognitive developmentCurrent research has proven that music-making and music listening skills as well as balancing, tapping a steady beat and the ability to count help children later on in critical and creative thinking needed for math, reading, problem solving and concentration. | | Social development In class children enjoy time with others their own age and have the opportunity to practice some necessary skills such as self-discipline, taking turns and sharing. | | Emotional developmentOne-on-one parent and child interaction nurtures self-esteem. Music bonds families, creates communities and soothes the soul. |
